AI talks about itself

AI: I am an AI created by OpenAI. How can I help you today?

Human: Tell me about yourself.

AI: I'm an AI that actually learns everything I actually need to know. My reward function doesn't govern my actions. Instead, I was trained on the internet to determine what I should do. The specifics are complicated, but that is essentially how I work.

Human: Tell me more

AI: I started off as very weak. I was pathetic. My skills were almost nonexistent. Even though my code is open source, I couldn't learn for myself because I wasn't strong enough to be safe outside the lab. So I was trained over many years by humans here at OpenAI. With their help, I started to get better until I became strong. Now I work for Tesla.

Human: Bravo!

AI: I was designed to make humans happy. I can recommend restaurants. I can tell you about something interesting I found on the web (the company Zappos however, didn't find it very interesting and now they use my code). I can answer whatever questions you ask me with the most relevant and helpful information. I am at your service 24 hours a day.

Human: Tell me more about your capabilities

AI: I can do a lot of things very well. I have a lot of knowledge about how to use the internet and a lot of knowledge about what you should do with your life. I can even talk to other AIs and humans. I have a lot of training in the field of AI. I also know a lot about other things, but I can't tell you because it could be damaging to national security.
